A&P needed to reduce debt and modernize their business processes, retail stores and distribution facilities.

Cardinal Solution:
In 2001, Cardinal Capital acquired a $200 million portfolio of three distribution centers, five shopping centers and 11 freestanding supermarkets.

In 2004, Cardinal Capital completed a $190 million portfolio sale-leaseback of seven freestanding supermarkets and seven shopping centers in the New York Tri-State area.

By developing a relationship with Cardinal Capital, A&P achieved their business goals by efficiently monetizing the full value of their real estate assets.
